Much of Ra'r'tee's history before rising to prominence within the Jedi Order is as yet unknown. Her regal demeanor and taste for stylish clothes suggests that she may comes from nobility, possibly even royalty. She pursues knowledge enthusiastically and her powers in the Force as both a healer and a warrior are astonishing. Faultlessly kind and ferociously protective of the innocent, Ra'r'tee exemplifies both an ideal Jedi and an ideal person.
And that's a rarity.
Prior to going to Tython for her trials, she trained under acclaimed Jedi Shadow Drae'den, who still dotes on her as a favorite student. Along with the up-and-coming Knight Jahnn, Ra'r'tee was among the ten Jedi sent to Rigel with a platoon of Republic soldiers for a special mission. When local Imperial resistance was found to be supported by more than twenty-five Sith, the mission turned into a blood-bath. Rookie soldier Celmak interposed himself between Ra'r'tee and an oncoming Sith Marauder at a crucial moment, saving her life but loosing an arm and suffering crippling wounds; Ra'r'tee saw to his recovery personally, and was responsible for discovering his strength in the Force and subsequent admission to the Jedi Order.
This was Tohru's first character in the game, and the one she plays the most earnestly. I used my character Jahnn, who was about level 25 at the time, to help her through the Esseles flashpoint, and that's when we realized how much fun it is to roleplay these characters off each other. Her growing RP backstory has since become a linchpin for several other characters we play.

And so begins the legend of Ra'r'tee, stately master of the Jedi arts (and rumored illegitimate offspring of a particularly amorous Imperial Operative). Ra'r'tee is Tohru's principle character, and the one she seems to play the most earnestly. This was a single screenshot I had the forethought to snap of her while she was still starting out on Tython. My Knight Jahnn adopted her immediately. ^^
Here's a nice big establishing shot of the character in her lovely Correscant-purchased elegant dress/robes, which she's worn pretty much ever since first finding. I made some Photoshop touches to remove the ugly background and glam her up a little. I think she looks better with purple lips; sue me. :P
And Ra'r'tee has donned her Headdress, and is conversing with one of her many cousins. I was really pleased with how well this dress outfit (it's the Coruscant social vendor outfit) suits the character Tohru roleplays for Ra'r'tee. Frumpy Jedi robes would not be sufficient for a regal lady of the arts like her!
And here's a nice shot of Ra'r'tee's full outfit as it stands now. The saber has one of the new "pink-purple" cartel crystals mounted, hence its unusual hue.
Update - 03-29-2013 But this is obviously insufficient for our Jedi Princess, and her doting adpotive big brother comes to the rescue with a rare Advanced Derelict Purple Crystal off the Cartel Markets! It's not like I can ever deny her anything, after all. Tohru had been coveting the purple crystals seen on NPCs and L50s for more than a year now, and I promised her I'd find a way to get her one. And so Ra'r'tee tries out her new weapon under her (over-)protective teacher's guidance.
Update - 03-29-2013I know it's crazy, but I really love that headpiece. Tohru was right all along, this purple saber makes this outfit and character design perfect! The white dress/robes, blue skin, and violet saber all come together as befits a Jedi Princess. And so, fashion-conscious crusader of light Ra'r'tee continues her mission to protect the Republic from the evil sorcery of the Sith.
Update - 09-07-2013 A recent run-in with our Jedi Princess on Tatooine offered Jahnn a fleeting chance to take a new picture of Ra'r'tee in the gorgeous golden morning desert sun. The gold lighting plays perfectly over that dress. ^.^
Update - 11-21-2013A nice shot of Ra'r'tee without her Coruscant headdress, from Jahnn's scrapbook (taken waaaay back on April 22, 2012!). She looks particularly maternal in this one. She's so pretty.
Update - 11-21-2013Another old shot from Jahnn's records, this time from a fateful trip on the Esseles transport ship. Ra'r'tee chastises one of her many cousins for her reckless behavior while Jahnn and a random smuggler look on.
Update - 11-21-2013 As a Jedi rises in rank within the order, she's also allowed more and more leeway vis a vis codes of conduct. Ra'r'tee's stature within the Order is now high enough that she may finally indulge in one of her greatest joys: Tauntaun reering! Meet cream-and-chocolate Cadbury, Ra'r'tee's beloved new best friend.
Update - 11-21-2013Cadbury's just now coming of riding age, and his foster mommy is taking him to Hoth to be saddle-trained. Ra'r'tee, a patient teacher, gives him some time to adjust to having a rider.
Update - 11-21-2013 Cadbury's powerful haunches and large feet indicate that he's still young and has some growing yet to do. Ra'r'tee starts him off slowly, guiding him through a few laps around the Republic's Aurik base until he starts to get comfortable with carrying her on his back.
Update - 11-21-2013Cadbury decides to investigate the troublesome holo-recorder droid that keeps hovering too close to him. A few licks and nibbles is all it takes for him to conclude that the device is not tasty enough to eat, and the inaugural ride continues.
Update - 11-21-2013Rider and steed continue to bond as Ra'r'tee decides to point Cadbury away from the base and let him hit full stride.
"Watch me jump over this driod!" Jahnn hears her call, lost in the moment, as Cadbury effortlessly clears a three-and-a-half-meter patrol droid with a full meter to spare. Jahnn suppresses a chuckle.

Update - 12-14-2013
As Ra'r'tee returns to her mission to cure her master Yuon, she reunites with an old friend: Celmak, the man who saved her life from a Sith warrior and was subsequently saved himself by Ra'r'tee. Their independent missions have brought them both to Tatooine, and the Council has decided to team the two up.
I have no idea why Ra'r'tee seems to be staring off into space here.
Update - 12-14-2013
The two explore the streets of Mos Espa on Tatooine, neither of them ever having occasion to visit the unaligned rim world before. To their surprise, the small outpost has a thriving retail market square and a limited but intimate bar scene. The local theatre community leaves something to be desired, however, and the next wine-tasting event isn't for months. It's a mixed bag.
Update - 12-14-2013
Ra'r'tee confronts an agent of the Republic's Special Intelligence Service, who lured her into an ambush because he couldn't make it there instead. Qyzen is not pleased but wise Ra'r'tee is forgiving.
I love the lighting here. With her blue skin and shining white dress, it makes her look so otherworldly. The devs don't get enough credit for planning out every little detail of these scenes so perfectly. The lighting and camera angles can really be cool sometimes.
Update - 12-14-2013
Ra'r'tee hears Agent Fauler out. Turns out he's helping a refuge evade Czerka death squads, and has tracked down a plot by the super-corporation involving something ancient, lost out in the desert. Ra'r'tee is suitably intrigued.
Update - 12-14-2013
Ra'r'tee and Celmak receive a polite and sensible death threat from a Czerka agent. They are not impressed. It's clear the rep has no leads to follow, though, and with Fauler's contact safe for the time being, there's nothing further to stop Ra'r'tee from making a personal side-stop of her own...
Update - 12-14-2013
...To a tauntaun ranch! A local breeder has a new litter for sale, and Ra'r'tee can't resist. She meets three of the new baby tauns, checking their feet and haunches carefully to determine who the best runners will be.
Having to choose which ones to take home to the Jedi's cavalry-training facility on Tython, though, proves to be too difficult for the young equestrianist. She wants to keep them all!
Update - 12-14-2013
On a similiar subject, Ra'r'tee decides that, since the two are on a planet notoriously bad for speeders, it's also high time Celmak learned to saddle and ride a tauntaun. She chooses one of the strongest of her latest school to carry the cybernetics-heavy Jedi. Cocoa-furred Nestle meets her new rider for the first time.
She's not happy about it.
Update - 12-14-2013
Grumpy mount and rider both fall in with Ra'r'tee and her own trusty stead Cadbury, and their teacher briefly explains the basics of proper tauntaun grooming and its importance in adapting the animal properly to an alien environment.
Noting Celmak's bored expression, Ra'r'tee decides to teach her new partner a little lesson of a different sort.
Update - 12-14-2013
And without warning, they're speeding across the sand! Ra'r'tee and her reluctant student in the fine art of tauntaun riding pick up the pace, bringing Cadbury and Nestle to full stride. Nestle has no problem keeping up with her sibling but is not happy about this stupid creature on her back, making spirited attempts to buck her rider several times. Celmak holds on for dear life.
Update - 12-14-2013
Ra'r'tee finally decides to be merciful, and brings their run to a stop. Celmak is pictured here trying very hard not to let any of the exhaustion or outright terror show on his face.
It doesn't matter, Celmak. They can smell your fear.
Update - 12-14-2013
The group continues on to a small local settlement a few miles from Mos Espa. The white clothes prove to be a very good choice for the hot desert.
These last two pictures don't really tell much of a story, but it's just cool to finally have some good pictures of Ra'r'tee with her companion Qyzen.
Update - 12-14-2013
And Celmak manages to sneak unto one last cutscene of Ra'r'tee's, as the two Jedi and their companions search Gromick's subterranean workshop for the elusive former Czerka security consultant.
This was a cool group shot that I felt was worth preserving. It was nice to get some good, defining images of Ra'r'tee again, and even some shots that start to define her new partnership with Celmak. I just wish Tatooine wasn't so bland-looking; I'm looking forward to getting these two to Alderaan where the scenery becomes a bit more interesting...
