ADVENTURES HOLOJOURNAL - places, people, and stories
|
This is a picture-journal of Jahnn's furthering adventures in the Old Republic game.
|
Last Updated 2015-06-20: Gallery code updated to save bandwidth loading all the images. Moved the storyline galleries to their own web page.

04-21-2012 -- Full Image
Upon boarding the Esseles, Jahnn and a local smuggler meet a young Ra'r'tee, who introduces them to her cousin Asara. A violent argument breaks out over who's tush is nicer.
Jahnn insists his cheeks are firmest, while the smuggler contends his better tone means he wins. Ra'r'tee and Asara quickly disentangle themselves from the group.
04-21-2012 -- Full Image
And it's time to board the Imperial destroyer that's harassing the Esseles! Jahnn and Kira take the smuggler and capture the landing bay so Asara and her commandos can keep it secured. Note how the males' eyes realistically wander to Asara's caboose.
Update - 06-28-2013 -- Full Image
Jahnn confronts a group of Imperial hostage-takers in this lost holoimage. Foolish Imperials wanted to negotiate. It didn't work out that way for them.
Update - 08-25-2013 -- Full Image
Jahnn wanders back to Quesh, and meets Saya'ka for the first time since their initial acquainting years ago as students of their respective trades. Jahnn's already been through this planet once already and is annoyed to find things have already deteriorated back to the point that he and his soldier friend have to step in and salvage things for a second time...
Jahnn also doesn't like how Saya'ka's chosen beau has a more cuddly chest than Jahnn himself does.
Update - 08-25-2013 -- Full Image
Saya'ka confronts one of the Hutts who controls Quesh with Jahnn in tow, intent on assuring that the corrupt businessmen do not side with the Empire. A soldier, a Jedi, and a seven-foot-tall Sith Lord would be intimidating enough to sway negotations in the young Lieutenant's favor, but for the hilarious cat-boy in the back rank, immediately ruining any advantage the group had.

Before this gallery was conceived, Jahnn did collect a couple of holoimages of one of his earliest adventures with fledging Jedi Ra'r'tee. Those images, taken aboard the Republic's Esseles transport, is all the documenation remaining of Jahnn and Re'r'tee's first mission together.

Flashpoint: THE FALSE EMPEROR
|
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageDuring this time Jahnn also took in the False Emperor flashpoint with a motley crew of Republic heroes. It's a long flashpoint but it's entertaining.
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageAnd, of course, there's good ol' HK-47, somehow (cheaply off-camera) reprogrammed for complete obedience to Darth Malgus in place of Revan. He gets off a few good quips before we send him running.
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn and his compatriots enter Malgus's throne room. This area was gorgeously rendered, clearly meant to evoke the Emperor's chamber on the Death Star. It has a much, much broader sense of scale to it, though, like the master control center of a huge, fantastic war room.
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageMalgus's guards take issue with the heroes' arrival.
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageBut Malgus waves his supplicants aside, apparently intent on taunting Jahnn with incomprehensible technobabble about fluxes and stealth fighters. Clearly, the burdon of leadership is taking its toll, the poor dope.
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageTruly, this complete turnabout in Malgus's personality really did disappoint me. It was a long and ponderous fight but we did manage to take the doofus down.
Update - 09-06-2013 -- Full ImageBurning with justice (which registers as blue on the electromagnetic spectrum), Jahnn demonstrates his sense of fair play by planting a boot into a prone and helpless Malgus's family jewels. Serves the jerkward right for stealing lines from RoTJ.
7 images
Jahnn's made it all the way to Illum, and now he's going to help put down Darth Malgus before he can consolidate what's left of the Empire.

Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn and Kira (in her complimenting robes and armor, note) check in with the General in command of the local Republic military. Turns out the planet is under siege by the Empire and, despite having hundreds of thousands of Republic troops on the ground, the battle is almost certainly lost unless Jahnn personally intercedes without backup or support.
Jahnn outwardly nods and makes a mental note to have the General compulsorily referred to the base's psychiatric staff.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn and his favorite student set to work, and quickly the fiery tell-tale signs of their presense on Corellia are apparent.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn and Kira encounter an old friend, since they chose to spare his life on Tatooine about twenty levels ago. Praven still hasn't had the ten-foot-pole removed from his ass at this point, but he is a lot more agreeable now that he's finally kicked his Sith habit.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageAnd the duo's first objective on Corellia is met: Master Kiwiiks has been rescued. She's had a rough time of it at this point, being beaten by Praven, the Shock Drum doomsday weapon, and then a crazy Sith Lord in succession.
There's an entire team of actuaries computing the odds against her dying at any specific time once placed in even the slightest harm's way. Jahnn puts his money her surviving for two days max, while Kira isn't looking.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImagePoor Kira doesn't like the state that she's found her rescuer and teacher in. Concurring with her feelings, Jahnn orders Kiwiiks back to base to recover and help the wounded.
...Reasoning that it's only a matter of time before she's captured again and imprisoned right next to whatever new trite, cliched WMD the Imperials brought to this planet, which will lead Jahnn right to them.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageAnd the big push is about to begin! Jahn and Lord Scourge arive at the central command center for Republic operations on Corellia, and are met by all the Jedi they've been running around the planet to find.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn has a lot to work with here; a whole squad of Jedi and the meat of the Republic's forces on Corellia. Analytical Jahnn prioritises objectives immediately and sends his team out for a keg of root beer.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageA cool run-down of Jahnn's team of Jedi, many of whom he's encountered at previous points in his adventures. General Var Suthra looks on, out of his depth in any situation that doesn't call for him to create genocidal weapons of mass destruction and rationalize them after the fact.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageA good shot of Jahnn and Kira, in their matching blue and red armor robes. Jahnn's forces have already been deployed, and now all that's left is to spearhead the assault on the Imperial command structure.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageAnother solomn moment between the two, just before the final battle (which I failed to get screenshots of, sorry). I really liked the way their outfits wound up playing off each other's so well. Wish I'd intended it.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full Image (very large panoramic)The outcome of the campaign was never in doubt, and Coruscant is freed. Jahnn, the top military brass, the head CorSec officer, and a hologram of the Prime Minister who couldn't be bothered to attend in person officiate in a super-wide zoom that really shows off why Eyefinity rules, while our hero is honored for his victory.
Kira makes sure none of the groupies storm the stage.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageA lost image restored to the gallery (more than a year later-!), Jahnn accepts his congratulations directly from (a hologram of) the Grand Chancellor of the Republic.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageAnd Jahnn receives some applause from the gathered Corellians. Their world is safe and Jahnn's favor to Grand Master Satele is paid.
And naturally, no sooner is his mission here accomplished than the Jedi Order is already nagging him about some place called Ilium. Jahnn decides it's time to disappear for a while.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn begins a period of introspection, exploration, and singles bar hopping before undertaking his next mission for Satele and the Council. Spiritual challenges are met, mind and body are healed, and alcohol tolerance is tested. While thusly travelling, he takes the opportunity to try out the new military speeder he's been issued as an honorary member of Havok Squad. Tatooine's spanning plains lend themselves well to speeder-biking, but the ever-present sand dust means he spends as much time cleaning the engine as riding the bike...
14 images
I finally realize I can screenshot more than just new outfits and start chronicling my adventures, just as Jahnn reaches Corellia, the final planet in the game's original storyline progression.

HOTH AND BELSAVIS WITH SAYA'KA
|
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageBut R&R doesn't last long; Jahnn answers the call of an old friend, and returns to Hoth to reacquaint with Captain Saya'ka and her lovely companion Elara. Jahnn asks himself what he did so right to be surrounded by so many cute girls, and asks which of them wants the honor of taking a decorated war hero out to dinner first.
Three women's exasperated sighs echo through the base.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageA very long shot of Jahnn and Saya'ka, with their respective hangers-on, confronting the leader of a Mandalorian troop on Hoth. Jahnn proves to be the better verbal combatant in their negotiations. Saya'ka seems a bit taken aback: his come-on lines were always so painfully clumsy, she would never have imagined such eloquence from him.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageThe team continues on to a Republic prison planet full of deceptively deadly terrain and massive, monsterous native wildlife bent on the murder of all human life called Australia Belsavis. While Saya'ka, a newcomer to the planet, gets her bearings, Jahnn again bemoans his lack of a Mirialan-attracting furry chest. Note Kira's new tight-tight leather'n'latex outfit too; it's even money whether she lost a bet or just liked the lethal look of it.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageThe team checks in at the main garrison for the prison, where Jahnn plays a shameless round of "Who's that behind you? Ah-! Made you look!" with the warden. Considering what happens to the warden in five minutes, it's just possible Jahnn should have just kept his mouth shut.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn and Kira watch on as Saya'ka exchanges credentials with the man in charge. Gruff Warden Playt tries to pull rank, only for newly-promoted Major Saya'ka to lay down the law in no uncertain terms. Kira, Jahnn, and Catboytoy are all equally cowed by the Major's verbal ferocity.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageThe team stumbles onto a wandering flock of Varactyls! Saya'ka advocates caution but Jahn just wants to make friends. To his glee, one of the feathered lizards takes to him. Jahnn finds himself following along with the flock, a happy part of the family.
OMG look at teh supar-cute Varactyl behbehs!!!1
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageThe juvenile Jahnn chose to saddle slowly acclimates to carrying a rider, and the two are soon a well-practiced team. Jahnn's thankful Saya'ka's not there to witness his doting baby-talking treatment of his new Varact- oh wait, she's the one taking these pictures.
Update - 12-12-2013 -- Full ImageHavok Squad's mission continues. Jahnn, bringing the full power of his Jedi-trained senses to bear, confirms that this is indeed a dead body.
Update - 12-18-2013 -- Full ImageExperimenting with the new black dye kits, Jahnn tests out his new armor on Belsavis. Sadly it provides insufficent protection against the platitudes and lies of corrupt Republic officers and politicians.
Having dealt with Colonel Hauer previously, Jahnn knows better than to trust the man's word. Major Saya'ka, on the other hand, is new both to this planet and to the Colonel's ways, and must salute the chain of command. Jahnn resolves to protect the young Major in case this goes as bad as he's sensing it might...
Update - 12-18-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn is tired of your shit, corrupt southern-accented senatorial stereotype.
Kira: "I advise you to curtail your shit, Senator."
Update - 12-18-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn and the other on-point members of Saya'ka's taskforce return to the Warden's facility just in time to prevent an Imperial overthrow. Apparently some of the native-born inmates are working with the Imperials in exchage for their freedom.
Jahnn and Saya'ka's sympathies for the natives' plight end when they witness firsthand the murderous slaughter performed by these "Condemned."
Update - 12-18-2013 -- Full ImageHavok Squad puts a daring interdiction plan into action, confronting the Condemned and their Imperial instigators together behind the protective shields they've put in place. Jahnn and Kira are half way to just attacking the rioting prisoners, but Saya'ka's cooler head carries the day.
12 images
Jahnn runs into Republic Trooper Saya'ka, and a strong and antagonistic friendship begins and Jahnn joins Havok squad for their missions on Hoth and Belsavis.

FINISHING BELSAVIS WITH SAYA'KA
|
Update - 12-21-2013 -- Full ImageThe Life Day season approaches as Saya'ka and Jahnn return briefly to the Republic fleet station for supplies. The station is populated with Life Day revellers, playing music and even throwing snowballs. Jahnn and Saya'ka both receive a Life Day present as well: the Sleigh 1 holiday speederbike.
Yeah, I thought it was a funny name too.
Update - 12-21-2013 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
Havok Squad returns to Belsavis to complete their mission, distributing presents for all the good mass murderers and seditionists.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full Image
Deep within the bowls of Belsavis, more evidence of the planet's previous Rakatan masters are found. Jahnn consults a glowing Life Day magic eight ball on the chances of seeing Saya'ka in something shoulderless and low-cut.
Answer unclear, try again later.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageThe team encounters a particularly unlucky (and mouthy) Sith who's run afoul the ferocious Esh-kha warriors who'd laid imprisoned in the Rakatan structures beneath this planet for centuries. They're kind of pissed about it.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageJahnn follows squad leader Saya'ka deeper into the Kakatan ruins of Belsavis, and discovers an actual, living Rakatan plugged into the computer apparatus running the show. Unable to free itself, it creates a hologram in order to communicate. Rather than plead for freedom, the centuries-old Rakatan just wants Jahnn to put down the jailbreak and return order to the Infinite Prison.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageThe team pursues a failsafe called the "Burning Way," which turns out to be a massive collection of machines built to permanently seal the lower levels of the prison, and prevent the maddened Esh-kha's escape.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageAs the huge holopod hums to life and speaks to the team, they realize that the massive structure here is apparently driven by its own artificial intelligence, which strikes me as severely redundant considering just one level up there was a person plugged into the system and running the show by pure brainpower. None of this distracts the group from their goal of the Burning Way, however.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageThe giant machines themselves have other plans, however, and plead their case to Saya'ka and her team to leave them intact after all... even though it means letting the Esh-kha escape. Jahnn doesn't have to say a thing, he knows which way Saya'ka's going to break...
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageAnd on Saya'ka's command the Burning Way is enacted. Turns out it's just a freaking smelter that pours down a few tons of molten metal over the entrance to the lowermost levels of the Rakatan prison. Not sure why such a dramatic name was necessary, really.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full ImageWe meet our wayward Sith historian again, who stops just long enough to come as close to thanking us for helping him previously as a Sith ever can. Jahnn is 100% ready to leave this crazy planet.
11 images
The Belsavis adventure continues with green-skinned lady trooper in tow. Saya'ka's Havok Sqaud secures the prison planet, discovering some ancient secrets along the way. Man those Rakatas can be a pain...

Update - 12-29-2013 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
A genuinely pleasant change of pace, Jahnn and Saya'ka unwind on the planet Voss, an agrarian world ruled by a race of perpetually-sedated soothsayers resembling 8-foot-tall tropical fish-men. The scenery is nice, though, and Jahnn takes some time to relax with Kira while the Major checks out the local arms dealers.
Update - 12-29-2013 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
Jahnn and the Major meet Ambasador Jannik, the Republic's representative on this planet. In a surprising and shocking turn of events, he's dealing with a major problem that only we can resolve for him.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
Jannik butts heads with a hilariously transparently-evil Sith Ambasador while a naive Voss claims not to care what either camp does on his planet as long as it doesn't bother them. This is already ten kinds of messed-up and Jahnn can be heard muttering, " 's gonna be a long planet..."
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
Saya'ka, at least, remains focussed and avoids Jahnn's jaded outlook, and proves herself to be the better diplomat this time by respectfully poking fun at the Sith's ridiculous battle toga and asking him if his refrigerator is running. Jahnn is humbled by her ambassadorial prowess.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
And they're off, riding out into the gold plains of Voss to confront the Gormak that have been giving the Voss natives so much trouble.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
At the first outlying outpost, Jahnn gets an amazing view of Voss's moon rising in the distance. Note the rings. Gives me chills, actually, imagining a moon that big and/or close to its parent planet...
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
Jahnn continues to admire the moon-rise while waiting for the Major to finally finish in the lady's room. It's worth noting that this planet has a pale yellow hue to it just like Quesh does. And yet somehow, here it makes everything look crisp and autumn-smelling, while on Quesh it just made everything look like the inside of a toilet bowl. Go figure.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
A pair of renegade Voss -- failed "Mystics," actually -- have fallen in with the Sith but are having doubts. Jahnn manages to bring them around before the Sith pitches a fit and tries to fry everyone; it goes about as well for him as one might expect when facing down a veteran Jedi and the CO of the Republic's single most elite combat unit.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
The group checks in with Jannik, and for once it's good news: the Voss are coming around and have decided that we are some sort of prophecied Chosen Ones (TM) who are destined to end their conflict with the Gormak barbarians. Whatever, that's just Tuesday for Jahnn.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
A trio of advisers to the Voss people's "Mystics" explain their centuries-spanning conflict with the Gormak, the planet's other, more physically powerful indeginous species. Note how the Voss all have colorful patterns evocative of tropical fish.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
Saya'ka is sympathetic to the Voss's plight, but skeptical of their Mystics' purported future-seeing powers. Jahnn chooses not to comment and lets the Major make her point.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
And in the ancient Temple of the Mystics, Jahnn discovers an item of great significance: space drugs. Far out, man.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
Sampling the Voss's personal stash, Jahnn and Saya'ka find themselves on a yellow-tinged hallucinatory trip involving tropical fish-men asking them to predict their future, in the past.
Update - 12-30-2013 -- Full Image
The bad trip continues as Saya'ka attempts to operate a holocron while under the influence. The resultant crater was over 200 feet in diameter.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
The Voss hallucinations insist that the team's drug-induced experience is a vision quest meant to anoint them as Mystics of the Voss, but our heroes know better. Sometimes it's just better to relax and come down off the high at your own pace.
15 images
Jahnn and Saya'ka head to the planet Voss to interfere in the affairs of an ancient culture, and trip on bad space-cannabis. This is not an Andy Dick production.

|
Update - 12-21-2013 -- Full Image
Awaking in an unfamiliar field with a critical case of the munchies, all involved parties agree never to speak of the experience again and continue with their mission.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
Now deep in Gormak territory, Havok Squad prepares to invade a command bunker and confront one of the natives' leaders.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
The heroes explore the Gormak bunker, taking down several hostiles on the way. Did no one anywhere in the Republic's chain of Ambasadorial command ever stop to consider that it might be worth negotiating with the Gormak? Seeing as they represent at least 50% of the planet's intelligent life?
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
A troop of beligerent Voss soldiers had the same idea as Saya'ka and Jahnn, and were attempting to attack the bunker; they survived only thanks to Havok's intervention.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
Finally, the goal is in sight. Jahnn has reservations about this whole exchange, but Saya'ka rushes in to confront the Gormak leader.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
Jokull, leader of the Gormaks, confronts his attackers and delivers a surprise: he commands the same precognitive gifts as the Voss's Mystics. The Voss troops cry blasphemy but are quickly put in their place by some falling rocks. Jahnn, the only one here with experience in the metaphysical, cautions the Major not to underestimate this Gormak or dismiss his power.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
Jahnn and his Verg student inspect some of the ancient markings along the Gormak's adopted headquarters. It's clear to them that the Jedi had a hand in building this place.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
But with the Gormak defeated, the Empire exposed for what they are, and the Voss placated, it's time to move on. Jahnn and Kira enjoy one last view of the planet's many vistas.
Update - 01-01-2014 -- Full Image
A mid-air collision between their transports alerts Jahnn and Saya'ka to the fact that the space-cannabis might not be as completely flushed from their systems as they believed. They resolve to waste no more time and leave the planet, before they catch themselves uncontrollably arguing for legalization.

Jahnn and Saya'ka's wacky adventures on the Planet of the Stoners concludes.

Update - 02-02-2014 -- Full Image
Saya'ka's still a little behind, level-wise, and Jahnn decides to come back to Corellia with her to help her complete the Trooper storyline. The team meets with General Aves, who, to everyone's absolute shock, has a job that only we can do.
Update - 02-02-2014 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
The situation on Corellia is explained: the Sith is assaulting the planet and the Republic is having trouble turning the tide.
It was established earlier in the game that at this point in galactic history, planetary shields have yet to be invented. So... why don't the Sith just bombard the planet? They weren't really interested in its industry or commerce, they just wanted to take down a major Republic planet to jump-start the war. Why bother with ground troops and trying to capture the major points of industry? Ugh...
Update - 02-02-2014 -- Full Image
Saya'ka's CO, General Garza, turns up on Corellia too, working with the rest of the republic brass to route the invasion. Here she negotiates with some of the local contractors. She displays laughable ignorance on how to deal with Corellians.
She also looks like she's about two seconds from flipping that table and attacking whoever's on the other side; apparently the General doesn't like losing Nar Shadaa-rules Pazak.
Update - 02-05-2014 -- Full Image
Less than a minute after setting foot in the casino that's been renovated into the Republic's makeshift headquarters, Havok Squad is accosted by the first of this planet's troops to need someone else to do their job for them. Once again it's clear that only Saya'ka and Jahnn are actually doing any work here.
Update - 02-05-2014 -- Full Image
Lord Scourge looks on with bemusement as Jahnn hears the Republic troops out.
Update - 02-06-2014 -- Full Image
Jahnn meets his first Selonian. Since this is a pulp science fiction story, these fur-covered aliens are said to live in packs, carry primitive melee weapons, and hunt. You know, like wild animals. Because they have fur.
I read "I, Jedi" years ago and then pretended not to, so I'm aware that Corellian Selonians are usually portrayed as just as modern and socially developed as humans. There are Selonian cops, Selonian businesspeople, even Selonian fighter pilots. So I'm not really clear on why the race is depicted as a half-feral dumb animal species in this game.
Update - 02-06-2015 -- Full Image
Saya'ka checks in with more of the locals. It takes the poor Major some time to really understand that Corellians just do not trust a uniform.
Update - 02-06-2015 -- Full Image
Returning from mess with the troops, Jahnn is momentarily distracted by Saya'ka's absolutely adorable pout. The Major's discussing strategy points with her superiors and is incensed by the suggestion that the Industrial Sector be conceeded to the Imperials' invasion force.
Update - 02-06-2015 -- Full Image
The oversized Havok Squad checks back in with General Aves and a member of Corellia's Corsec police force.
Update - 02-06-2015 -- Full Image
The group is introduced via holocall to one of the Corellian senators who voted to sell the planet out to the Empire, but now wants to change sides and help the Rebellion after seeing what he's gotten himself into. Jahnn doesn't even have to speak, Saya'ka is vocal enough with her objections for both of them.
Update - 12-26-2013 -- Full Image
Still miffed at the brass's decision to work with and grant amnesty to one of the people who made this 1-million-body-count invasion happen, Saya'ka and Jahnn attempt to stifle themselves and hear the CO's plan.

GETTING THE +10 DATACRONS
|
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
After over two hours' worth of work, my guildmates in Balance Foreshadowed and I managed to navigate the maze-like puzzle of the Gav Daragon's hidden engineering area, and Jahnn now claims the prize: a permanent +10 boost to all his primary stats.
Update - 20-10-2014 -- Full Image (very large, panoramic)
It's a long, grueling process of climbing and jumping and falling to make it through the engine room to a special door that leads back into the Gav Daragon's museum. This door opens into one of the exhibit rooms that normally players can't access. And inside... a set of holocrons!
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
One holocron for each statistic. Jahnn wonders briefly why in the world the Jedi Order would allow the military to keep such important relics aboard a space ship's museum.
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
But as Jahnn approaches, the holocrons hum to life and leave their pedistals, orbitting around the lost Jedi as the glow of their light begins to increase.
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
Note that the starfield background behind the door is a graphical error; it's supposed to show the corridor leading back to the engine room. I don't know. But the shot here of the holocrons suffusing Jahnn with their energy set to a starfield background does look a heck of a lot cooler.
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
And Jahnn is all, "I'm okay with this."
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
Big flash of light! That's how you know something Force-y has happened! Just like in the movies! Except not!
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
"All Attributes +10." Hot damn.
Update - 02-10-2014 -- Full Image
Jahnn and a couple of his guildies in Balance Foreshadowed. On the left is Gekendar, the guild's leader (also one of the coolest, most personable and well-read humans on earth). The guild's since fallen apart and gone defunct, but it was a great guild while it was running. I miss them.

Jahnn takes a break to return to the Republic Fleet, illegally break into a museum, and obtain one of the most obscure hidden bonuses in the game with a little help from the Balance Foreshadowed guild.
